Tissue Culture Acclimation instructions
Share
1. Fill humidity dome with acclimation mix.
2. Wet the acclimation medium by pouring distilled
water through it.
3. Let the excess water drain from the cup. You want
the medium to be moist but not soaking wet.
4. While wearing gloves, take out the tissue culture
plantlet, and rinse the gel off under running water.
5. Place the tissue culture plantlet onto the moist
medium. Make sure not to bury the roots too deep.
6. Place the humidity dome back on, and make sure
the air valve is closed.
7. Place the dome under artificial light.
8. After 1 week, start to open the valve for an hour or
so per day to temporarily lower the humidity inside
the dome.
9. After two weeks, take the entire lid of the dome off
for an hour or so per day.
10. You can continue this process by increasing the
duration with the dome lid off until the plants are
adjusted to your grow room environment.
11. Make sure that the medium doesn’t dry
completely out at any time.
12. These are the base guidelines to follow. This
process can be adjusted based on the plant type
and environmental conditions in your grow room.
